LIMEHOUSE LIZZY

+ Deep Purpled

We delighted to welcome one of the best tribute shows in Europe to what will be a brilliant gig at the O2 Academy.

Thin Lizzy are one of the all-time great rock bands with many anthemic songs to their credit, much of it due to the legendary Phil Lynott. They were certainly one of the most exciting bands you could ever see. That excitement, the heat, the sweat, the dazzling stage show, those glorious rock songs are still available.

Premier tribute act Limehouse Lizzy are in Newcastle in May with a stirring tribute to Philip Lynott and Thin Lizzy.

Currently riding the wave of a Thin Lizzy renaissance, hard work and dedication has rightly earned Limehouse a large fan base as well as centre stage in a BBC2 documentary. The BBC concert footage and interviews were screened as part of the Arena television series in 2007.

Due to overwhelming demand, the band are back on the road in 2010 and the Newcastle gig will be complete with their magnificent mirrored backdrop, police lights and full pyrotechnic display. It’s an incredibly dynamic live show and rock fans can expect classics like Whisky In The Jar, Parisienne Walkways, The Boys Are Back In Town and many more of Phil Lynott's genre-defying hits, alongside some of his cult album tracks and solo material.
