This very popular 70's outfit
are back on the road and set for their first
Northeast gig in thirty years. Hailing from the
Bristol area [someone has to] the re-united
group still has four original members from the
classic line-up: James
Warren, Andy
Davis [also the Korgis and a
worldwide hit with "Everybody's Got To Learn
Sometime"], Mutter
Slater, and
Crun Walter, as well as ex-Korgis
Glenn Tommey
and Andy "Codge"
Marsden. They are backed by superb
violinists Sarah
Mitchell and
Rachel Hall.
Now that's a lot of people to squeeze on to the
Cluny stage, but we will do it some how.
Stackridge will be on stage
at 8.45pm for a good two hours and will cover
their impressive catalogue including the highly
acclaimed album The Man In The Bowler Hat
(1973), which was produced by
George Martin.
There's a lot excitement about this gig so it
should be quite a night. To remind yourself of
the Stackridge
history, nip into their web site and see you
back here very soon to order your tickets.
